To begin using your mouse and keyboard on your Xbox console, all you need to do is plug these devices into an available USB-Type A port on your console. 

Although the keyboard will work without any additional configuration, your mouse will require a few more steps to appropriately set up.

To configure your mouse:

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
2. Select Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections.
3. Select Mouse. You'll see options for pointer speed and for swapping primary and secondary mouse buttons.
